Well since I was off two random weekdays this week I headed out yesterday and this morning. Yesterday the scenting was bad, but they still jumped about 5-6. They just never ran any long enough for me to get any shots. Today the scent was much better but rabbits were harder to find. Jumped 4 and was able to take two of them. They also jumped one rooster. On the second rabbit I hit the rabbit on the first shot but not very hard so I had to shoot it again. You can see it in the clip about 2 o clock off of the edge of the black dot(stump) while its laying there. Probably will be the last time I get out until the next season. Usually my work has been slowing down by now but not this year. I have only been out 5 times this whole early season and one time was only for an hour.
One thing is for certain, the one rabbit must be a buck b/c it looks like his one ear is torn off (the one on the right). The other ones ears look extremely short to me for some reason, it looks odd. You hunting those inbred club rabbits??? LOL
