Pheasants at the flight 93 memorial

Had a great morning. Gamelands 93 is large, has good cover, and they must have stocked Friday night.

Nice hunt! That dog looks all business. How's the habitat there? I've heard their doing a lot of work on the SGL there for small game.

It's breeding,training...and something unknown.

Looks like you had a great hunt!
I was up there at the end of september on a trip with my wife. The cover looks great. The cover all over the strip mine that the flight 93 memorial is on will hold a lot of birds when they are pushed off the SGL as well.

Yes, I believe we did speak. How did you make out? It sounded (and looked) like you had a setter that was getting some work down by the pines.

I shot one bird up on the hill above the first parking area. I got the second all the way down around the corner up on the hill behind the ponds, almost to the base of the first set of windmills. There was no one else up there.

Re: Pheasants at the flight 93 memorial

Chaz, that was me down by the pines, the first hour was a little frustrating with my setter running like a race horse until she tired out then she had some nice points.

That's a great picture on a gameland dedicated to some great people.
