Lycoming county Pheasants ??

Anyone have any suggestions on where we could find a pheasant in the Williamsport area. Taking a few junior hunters out for the weekend and we have a spot picked for turkey on Saturday, but have no idea on where we could find a bird or 2 for them to see on Friday. We don't want to invade you personal hunting grounds, but if anyone knows of a place where they stock a few birds I would appreciate knowing were to take the boys. I don't think they have ever seen a pheasant in the wild. We are located above Montoursville, but willing to travel a ways.

Try Gameland 252 at Allenwood. They stock birds and I think you can shoot Hens and Cocks.

If you go to 252 just be careful, it can be a real zoo. Its the best chance close to you to get some birds, but there are some real jokers that show up there and don't hunt safely.

i went for a walk yesterday with the o/u scouting for fox just in case i saw or flushed a pheasant and i was amazed at the amount of people still hunting at dark.. very unsafe over there
