On the bright side

Ran 6 today with Pete and Gracie. Doing more missing than hitting. 1st holed after about an hour with no shots(my buddy seen it twice but couldn't get a shot). I missed the next 2 (they holed soon after) Connected on the 4th. The 5th was caught by Petey. My buddy missed the 6th 3 times before it holed. Picked up Pete and Gracie (they ran hard for about 4 hours) and put down Jessica. Ran 2 more in the afternoon snow squalls getting the first and missing the second. All said and done a very enjoyable hunt. 3 bunnys and a lot of action in about 6 1/2 hour hunt. Oh, and Jess retrieved the bunny shot over her! AWESOME!!!

Re: On the bright side

Nice day Joe
You do need to learn how to use a camera though LOL

Our day was about the same, good dog work, lots of missing, must have been something in the air. Couldn't have been our fault.
We had 1 bunny missed by 8 shots between the 3 hunters.
Thank god Janie can shoot straight. She limited out.

Todd was about out of ammo but I had the light game coat at the end (no rabbits lighter on ammo)
Dogs logged about 12 miles on the Garmin and were running most of the time.
Mag,Chase and their mother Lacy ran good but it was Janie's 3yo FW Lackawanna All Eight Molly that was the strongest dog on this day.

Hadn't hunted this spot in about 3 years and it looks like it's still pretty good.

Sounds good guys! We had some good running yesterday, but I didn't even take a gun.

I used to carry a camera with me, John, but when the film was used up, it would take me forever to get the film developed.
