Are you looking for a regulated hunting grounds or a place to buy birds? Once pheasant season is closed, you cannot release pheasants and hunt them off a regulated hunting ground.

Here in Lehighton, actually out along Beltzville Lake, a guy just down the road from me still has pheasants, maybe even a 100 or so by the looks of the pen. Small operation, I'll get the number and post it.

Re: pheasants and chukars

We all have been happy with this weather and this winter, but the lack of snow has put alot of pressure on breeders. The demand for birds has overwhelmed most of them. Now field trials are starting and quail are also in short supply and getting shorter.

Wolfes Game Birds in Brookville- 814 849-3430

Stub Robbins in Sugar Grove would be close-814 489-3537
I have got birds from him later in the year than this so he should have some.

Common sense isn't very common these days!

Re: pheasants and chukars

There may be some birds listed on Craigslist. It's worth a shot.

If you enjoy hunting please find a way to give back to the sport. Our children will thank you.
