Greatest Hunt Ever!!

I was up in Potter County over the last couple of days hunting with some fellow RGS Members and there dogs.
On friday we split up and hit a bunch of covers and think we had a total of 12 flushes with no birds killed. Saturday morning, we had 8 flushes.
For me this was the greatest hunt I have ever had, for anything in my entire life. My 2 DeCoverly Setters, Kacie and Patti worked together this weekend like I have never seen before. My Patti girl had 2 of the most beautiful points on birds that I have ever seen, the second point was with a back from her younger sister Kacie. I missed on the first but was able to connect on the second, a beautiful male. Even though I have killed many grouse before over my dogs, this was has the most memorable grouse that I was able to Harvest, EVER!!
I am proud of my dogs, we as a team have come a long way and have learned many things.
Me, Patti and Kacie and our most prized Grouse ever!!

That's what it's all about. Good looking dogs and a great hunt!
It stinks I will be in florida and not able to attend the RGS banquet this weekend.

Sweet nothing beats memories.

As Charles Barkley says, "I may be wrong, but I doubt it".
