Here is a pic of the last grouse for the year in Pa and after a long season of hunting we had the best dog work we had all season but we just didn't do are part in the shooting department. I missed some easy shots on some birds that i should have killed, I swear that after we missed the 4th or 5th bird the dog was standing there steady after the bird flushed and we let the lead fly the dogs would look back and give us dirty looks. I guess if i was a dog i would have to. I killed this bird on are second triple flush that the dogs pointed today seemed like the birds where in multiples today. Off to West Virginia next week i wish are season lasted until the end of February.
Thanks for the comments on the dogs. The gun is a 20ga Beretta 686 onyx pro it is not actually real wood Beretta put a thin wrap on the stock that makes it look like fancy wood. It is quite durable in the grouse woods where a gun can get starched up quick but i buy my guns to use not to look at them in the safe.
