grouse hunt

Well made it back home last week to do a little grousing for a couple days. Hunted about 3 hours/day on thurs, fri, sat. We put up 20 killed 3. Dog did well, shooters did not.
Thursdays bird

Huntin Bucks and Crushin Ducks

That dog looks wore out in a good way. As a guide once told me a tired dog is a good dog.

Congrats on a successful hunt. Good looking springer. They truly are a versatile bird dog. What make is your double gun. Looks like a nice one.

Looks like you had a good time, I still love those springers ( My first real bird dog was a springer).... Its amazing sometimes at how many birds you can put up and either not get a shot at them or how they magically dodge those shotgun pellets.
