Hare Hunt

We set out on Saturday to the same spot we didn't get a jump on Monday and it prevailed to be a great idea. I took some of the older dogs and we had nonstop running from 0730 until 1100. We killed 3 hare and 1 cottontail in no time and had a blast.

Re: Hare Hunt

timberdoodle do you recognize that open mark hound on the right side of the picture. That is Laylah. She was the best hound of the day at 7 years old. Ran Relentless and had 0 checks with her on the ground. She might be running 3rd or 4th in the pack but when the faster hounds would loose it she would go right through them no missing a beat.

Re: Hare Hunt

We got one on Saturday with no dogs! Missed 2 cottontails and 2 grouse as well. Still was a good day!

I hunt deer in 2F, 5c/d. I hunt waterfowl in whatever unit they happen to be in on that day.
