White grouse?

I was driving around today and I saw a white grouse. The only coloring it had was on its wingtips. Anybody ever see one?

Re: White grouse?

Neat, are you going to hunt it?? I saw a partially white grouse a few years ago that a hunter had bagged.

Re: White grouse?

Around here we call them pigeons.

(Just kidding, I'd love to see a picture. GPS coordinates would be even better.)

Re: White grouse?

There's one in Bradford County, we flushed him three times this year. We decided we weren't going to hunt him, but we were trying to get pictures. Never saw him when we had the camera ready.

It's breeding,training...and something unknown.
