Flying Squirrel in Fox Chapel??

Yeah....well when I read the PGC reports, first of all it's listed as an endangered species, and second it's suppose to be located up north.

But, two nights ago my Son who lives near Fox Chapel had a party going on in his attic. So, he bot a small live trap and caught two of these little creatures in it. I know the pic isn't the best....but let's say between the party in his attic, and his new baby...life has been interesting for him.

Now, he released these two about a mile away ....but he still has another two or three up there. I don't know the legalities of the catch and release program he's doing....but it's gotta be better than the catch and set free to the flying heaven program?

Re: Flying Squirrel in Fox Chapel??

the northern flying squirrel is endangered...not the southern...

You can usually tell em apart by their accent.... No need to thank me..I'm here to serve!

Thanks....but these one's must have taken a "code of silence" for fear of "ratting" out there brother's who are still (they might use the word "hiding") partying away up in the attic!!

And we did a full body scan on these little critters and found no cap 'n ball revolvers that might indicate which side of the Masion Dixon they are from.
