Woodcock Migration

surprised this thread hasn't been made yet. anybody experiencing any numbers yet? I have flushed a couple while out scouting but I"m fairly certian they're hold overs. This week last year, maybe a bit later, is when I was seeing some consistency. A good cold snap next week will get them moving nicely for the first week of the season.

Heard of a few here in schuylkill...havent put any up myself yet. Usually dont get into them heavy until the second to last week of Oct.

I actually saw quite a few the past few years in tne North East wood duck hunting including last week!!

Having one child makes you a parent; having two makes you a referee... Take your kid's hunting!!!
