pheasant flushing videos

im going to try and post some video of my hunts this year.My wife already told me to give up bringing birds home so i guess ill have to shoot some with the camera.I really want to get some footage of my jack russell doing his thing, hes gettin up there in ys!(this will be his 10th season).I knew I better get some practice, sort of the same as finding range for the gun. These are what I got Oct 7th. http://s1080.photobucket.com/albums/j330/skipnchris/?action=view&current=GEDC0309.mp4

Re: pheasant flushing videos

Does your dog chase after rabbits ? I know that area. It's looking better for both rabbits & pheasants.I hunt there in the 2nd season for rabbits.

I sure wish I knew some junior hunters that wanted to go along with me the dog and the camera!

Re: pheasant flushing videos

This was on state game lands.I was careful to try and push the birds back towards middle of state land.

Re: pheasant flushing videos

I thought it was illegal in general to train a dog on state game lands until the 15th unless accompanied by a youth hunter. I know I am not allowed to run my beagles until the 15th on state game land? Is this only on certain game lands?

I think I talked to you today at SGL 145. I was the guy with the springer covered in burrs. Great little dog!
