Bad weather, good hunt

Well the weather was pretty crappy today but we managed to run one. It made a pretty tight circle before the dogs brought it to the gun. 1 rabbit, 1 chase, 1 shot. Hunted another 2 hours and didn’t even see a track. Weather was awful so called it a day.

It's not luck if success is consistent.

Good shooting, unfortunately I didn’t shoot well with my contender but then again that’s why I carry it. It extended all of the chases. Running was better then expected for how cold it was.

Aww look at those pups! My wife was sick so I didn't get out, but my dad did. He said he had one rabbit up, went pretty much straight to ground and he never got a shot. He was soaked within a few minutes and didn't stay extremely long. Good to see someone was out making it happen though.

A bad day hunting rabbits beats a good day of anything else!
