my new grouse gun

Got a deal on a 28ga CZ Ringneck. Didn't care for the muddy stock finish so I stripped, stained and Tru-Oiled it (12 coats) My 1st time refinishing a stock.

Re: my new grouse gun

I should have redo my Weatherby Orion II (Franchi), too much lacquer. I've been looking at the 202s, the ringnecks are nicer looking but the straight grips on the Bobwhites point faster for me.

If guns cause crime, mine must be broken.

Re: my new grouse gun

Uplander,
Nice little 28 Gauge Grouse gun, congrats on your new weapon, you are going to love this little CZ Double gun in the Grouse woods! A few months ago I picked up a new Spanish made L.C. Smith 28 Gauge myself. I was fortunate
the French Walnut was finished to my liking.
