Pheasant or rabbits?

If you had a choice to go rabbit hunting with beagles or pheasant hunting with bird dogs what would you choose?

birds over a pointing dog, but I wouldn't turn down a hunt with beagles for rabbits either.

When you are up to your butt in alligators, it is hard to remember your intent was to drain the swamp. Stay focused!

I raise beagles and hunt rabbits, but if we still had good numbers of pheasant and grouse, I would also raise birddogs and hunt with them. I enjoy any hunting.

No question, bunnies and beagles every time. That's some fun hunting.

I've had Vizslas Springers Gordon Setters and beagles and had a ball with each.

Enjoy your time with what you have....

I had a great 8 year run with my lab who did an incredible job with pheasant and our last hunt of the year last year she tore her ccl and she is now my perfect house dog... So I'm thinking of getting another dog to hunt with and just seeing what opinions you guys have... I had a ton of fun bird hunting over the last 8 years and I'm just trying to decide if I want to keep chasing birds or try my hand at chasin bunnies with some beagles

I've never hunted bunnies with beagles, but I really like hunting pheasant and bunnies! Either way, I would be happy.
