Pheasant stocking issue

I sent an email to the game commission Harrisburg office politely complaining that an area indicated on their web page as going to be stocked had not received one bird this year. A combination of not only why but the fact it has been stocked previous years etc. Received a prompt response to send that to the SWRO. I forwarded it, got a prompt response to supply phone number and they will contact me. I did and got a phone call from land manager ( I think that was the title) . Had a nice conversation. Part of the reason was the propogation farm in Armstrong county lost birds due to snow collapsing the netting and that loss affected the stocking there.
The point of this. They responded and didn't blow me off and I spoke with someone.

The Distant Game Farm lost a bunch of birds due to collapsed nets back in the early 90s. I was wondering whether it happened again during the bear season storm last month. I guess I got my answer.....

Good to hear they are responsive.

I have to say I am VERY pleased with the numbers of birds, only one time out without doubling or at least getting shots off. Been a great season thus far.
