Youth woodcock hunt

We had some success today, the boy who shot the woodcock never went wing shooting before, dropped the 2nd bird he shot at. We ended with 19 flushes(some reflushes) in 3 hours or hunting in cold, wind, and occasional light rain.

Plenty of scouting and good habitat makes for a great hunt.

Your a better man then me. I've been hunting south central Pa for about 2 weeks and have only encountered a handful of Woodcock. Course every place I've hunted has been nothing other then a swamp. 3" of rain around Harrisburg last night. Road closings everywhere.

Seeing pictures like that with big smiles really makes me miss my Britts and taking young guys out to hunt... Very nice.

do you expect me to believe that Brady only shot twice after 19 flushes?

Congratulations on a good hunt on a very tough day

Looks great Jeff! I had a slow wet morning with my buddy on Saturday.
