Pheasant Hunting SGL 214

Has anyone hunted the Pymatuning SGL 214? It looks like the stocking map overlaps the Goose Blind area ... are there special regulations for 214? A friend of mine has a camp by the lake and we wanted to do a pheasant hunt and wanted to look for areas to hunt.

Three of us attempted to pheasant hunt it last season for the first time. A LOT of the area is closed to pheasant hunting, since it is in the regulated waterfowl/blind areas. We found some fridge areas to hunt, but they were marginal pheasant cover. From the stocking numbers they put a lot of pheasants there, but we found none. After a morning of walking we drove to another SGL and found some birds. Was kind of a disappointment for us; three guys good dogs, nothing. I’m sure there are some niche spots around it, but we didn’t find them.

Thanks Uplander, got drawn for a goose blind there for this Saturday ... I'm going to ask if there are good places to go ... I'll report back my findings
