Latest Edition of Shooting Sportsman magazine

I'm more of the every day hunter myself, and can't afford to hunt on fancy preserves or with paid guides, but every once in awhile like to page through Shooting Sportsman at the fine double guns, etc. My buddy got the latest edition, and let me just say, it is worth getting if for nothing other than the cover photo! My goodness, the girl on it is amazingly beautiful, her name is Georgia Pellegrini and she both hunts and is a gourmet chef. Wouldn't she make a nice cabin girl!! Re: Latest Edition of Shooting Sportsman magazine

I have subscribed to Shooting Sportsman for years. The last time they had a beautiful woman on the cover many subscribers wrote nasty letters to the editor which make no sense since both women are probably better hunters than most of those men who objected. BTW, I am just an average hunter myself, I hunt with double guns, not of the caliber of those advertised in the magazine but that doesn't mean I can't think, maybe one day.

I picked up a copy the other day. I couldn't resist. A pretty female, a nice double, and to top it all off a field bred ESS

Those double guns are great to look at. I have always prefered doubles and single shots to the other types of shotguns. And, on the doubles I like the barrels to be SxS rather than the over and unders shotguns. Oh, the cover is nice, the gun I mean.
