Hope the grouse chicks aren't hatched

Hopefully its still too early and they won't be exposed to this spring sleet & snow. Anybody know?

I don't think the grouse have anything to worry about but the woodcock might. I've found a woodcock nest with 4 eggs as early as March 22 (2013).

I imagine some areas of MD could be quite a bit earlier than northern PA.

I saw a male strutting Tuesday for a hen and a friend got pictures this week of a male strutting around. I dont think there are any nesting yet up north here.
