Re: Corn Harvest Date

I saw a couple of fields that were cut for silage in Lebanon County.

Re: Corn Harvest Date

Generally the silage corn is chopped around Labor Day. Ears have to form and fill out for it to be good. Usually picking starts after the first frost and the kernals on the ears have hardened! October??

Re: Corn Harvest Date

It is all weather dependent.

Generally, Sept 1 to Dec 1
