game birds

I want to get hunt game bird but have a dad who works 3 am to 2pm with one car. wheres a place within walking/biking distance of patton rd harrisburg pa

I dont shoot innocent animals,only the guilty ones

try googling game bird farms in pa you might be able to find something

Hunt right above your house on the mountain. There are grouse there and wild turkeys. You are kind of far from any stocked pheasent areas. Good luck.

sorry misread your post kurt maybe there is a state game land near your place the pgc website will have those listed. ask around you might be able to get permission to hunt private land and sometime they're are the best places to hunt in my opinion

I'm sure there are some people on here that could answer that question,maybe clear cutting some areas if you have permission but that wouldnt be an instant thing obviouslly

don't hunt them for a few years. try to keep predator like coons, coyote, fishers, snakes, fox away from the area. anything that eats eggs and the bird itself. flooding during the hatch will also wipe them out.
