Muddy Run Map?

I've looked a time or three for a map to use for pheasant hunting at Muddy Run and all I've found is what looks like a campground map. Actually I can't figure out if this is a SGL, a state park, a private campground or what? Can someone edjumacate me a little on Muddy Run?

So far as I know the only hunting allowed in Muddy run park is the annual handicapped hunter deer hunt in Oct for 3 days. SGLs 136 and 288 are not far from Muddy Run, look them up on the PGC website.

When you are up to your butt in alligators, it is hard to remember your intent was to drain the swamp. Stay focused!

Steve:
Muddy Run is owned by Excelon Energy. According to the PA Game Commission website the area is stocked with pheasants.
I have never hunted there only some hiking some years ago. Not sure where you can get a map of the open hunting areas.

I just checked the PGC interactive stocking map. You just click on the blue dots for non PGC land and the red ones for game lands that are stocked. Once you click on the blue dot for muddy run you have some other options. One option is to enlarge the map so you can see the route for access and an outline of the area stocked. Then you can print it. on the home page, click on this Pheasant Allocations from the list on the left side of the screen about half way down. That will get you into the numbers of birds and the map.

WW, got it, thanks. I had been to that page but didn't zoom in far enough to see the boundaries emerge. It seems to get a lot more birds than the two nearby areas I've been hunting. But given it's size it seems like a good place to look for late season survivors. G28, I'll f/u on you PM.

There is the camp ground that is up the road from the land that is stocked with pheasants. Park in the lot off of River road. That is the easier lot to access IMO, than the one off of Church road I think its is. I pheasant hunted there alot. It gets very crowded during the early season. Probably isn't anyone hunting it now, and I doubt there are any birds left there either.
