Re: Grouse Stamp

I could respond to it 76 times if you want me to.

The problem is that I don't know what I don't know.

Re: Grouse Stamp

Is a grouse stamp still required? If not when did they stop selling them? That makes 73 to go.

The problem is that I don't know what I don't know.

Re: Grouse Stamp

I do not target grouse persay, but if a reasonable stamp was required I would buy it same as I do the trout stamp for just in case. Since the PGC spends no money raising and stocking grouse I see no reason for a grouse stamp to run 15 to 20 like a pheasnat stamp but something in the 5 to 8 dollar range wouldn't break the bank and would be bought for those rare times I come on one by accident

70 MORE TO GO

P.S. The monkey really freaks DennyF out

Re: Grouse Stamp

The problem is that people think this has to be a pheasant vs. grouse issue! I hunt grouse primarily, once Ive exhausted my grouse coverts I do go chase stocked pheasant (also miss morning crowds this way). I really don't see why this elitist atmosphere is needed, we really need to join together to promote this sport and stop being so divisive.

(just my .02 cents on the pheasant vs. grouse issue, plus got you one post closer!!)

Maybe it didn't come across that way, but I'm not attempting to take an elitist attitude. I'm really just poking fun at all of us for being so divided.

(and another step closer to 76).

Re: Grouse Stamp

If you read some of the threads pertaining to pheasant hunting some of the people on there really come off like they hate pheasants and they shouldn't be bothered with. You can throw some woodcock hunters in the mix as well
