Squirrels tomorrow

Taking my 8 y/o out for a couple hours tomorrow to try to bag his first squirrel. Once he gets bored I will go out with my junior hunter neighbor for his first hunt on his own. Weather looks beautiful and I am excited

Re: Squirrels tomorrow

For the second time, I have taken my son out and saw no squirrels. He has been a bit discouraged but still wants to get out there. At least he did get to do a little target shooting after the squirrels didn't cooperate. It probably isn't a bad thing that he didn't see tons of squirrels in the beginning. Don't want him to think that is an every time occurrence!

Re: Squirrels tomorrow

I haven't seen many deer hunting either. I mostly archery hunt within firearm safety zones so they haven't been shot out.

Hunting hobby ended, now I'm a fly fisherman!
