Clean a squirrel in less than 1 1/2 minutes

You can skin and clean a squirrel in less than 2 minutes. I have been doing this for years...so easy...try it.

Re: Clean a squirrel in less than 1 1/2 minutes

I basically don't shoot squirrels, because the way I remember my grandpa would dress it wasn't worth the time for the amount of meat you'd get. Well, maybe I don't remember exactly how my grandpa dressed it because I was 15 years old at the time and now I'm 44! Might have to give it a try. My bird luck is down and I have seen a few squirrels while out.

Anybody do squirrel in a crock pot?

My grandpa used to dredge in corn starch and then pan fry in oil, but my wife cannot do fried stuff.
And crocks are so easy... throw your stuff in, set-it and forget-it. LOL

Follow the dog. The dog's nose always knows.

Par boil three or four squirrel then strip the meat off. I go thru it twice to get the bones out. Then I fry onions and peppers. Put the squirrel and onions and peppers in the crock pot together with red wine and KC Barbeque sauce. Cook until all is tender. I have fed this to lots of people and they love it.

Re: Clean a squirrel in less than 1 1/2 minutes

I know this is a fairly old thread, but THANK YOU for posting this! I cleaned a red squirrel today within that amount of time, no fur on the meat or anything! Great tip!
