Grouse

Hey guys, I'm looking for some good places to grouse hunt. Anyone have some spots they could share? GPS coordinates, mapquest, ect? Thanks! I hope someone comes through because I can't wait to get after them. I plan on hunting with my .22 and try to sneak up on them. Less meat damage and way easier than shooting them in the air. Those things are just so darn fast and honestly, scare the crap out of me when they take off. Good luck every one!

I don't have ducks. I don't have rows. I have squirrels. And they're drunk.

Re: Grouse

You got the wrong dog for that. You need a schnauzer.

These are the good old days.

Re: Grouse

In my area, there is Michaux State Forest. Ridge Road is full of good grouse habitat that ive seen and heard from people.

I will never understand why people can be so blinded by a liar.

Re: Grouse

I think Washington County holds lots. Hop off 79 and look for the concrete jungle.

Only the owners of a GSP would truly understand, "If I fits, I sits".

Are there plenty of places on Ridge Road to pull off to the side so if I see a grouse I can get out and get a good shot with my .22?
