If you cannot find someone on here I would consider arriving at the game lands a bit before 7 am. If it's anything like other places I've been there is a chance someone with a dog may just be hanging out and waiting for a youth hunter.
Only the owners of a GSP would truly understand, "If I fits, I sits".
Just saw this....I posted a few days ago looking for a youth today... I have 2 setters I would like to work. I do not have school on Monday and would be available all day. Tues-Fri I could do an "after school hunt". Okay on Saturday, probably could still find a few birds. Email me [email protected]
Setter Rescuer....I just saw your post......thanks for the offer, I saw your earlier post for 1A area thought we would be too far for you...anyway, we were there (at camp) over weekend, unfortunately we are back home and I am at work boy at home....we got one more year for Jr hunt next year, maybe I will reach out to you earlier next year....anyway he got one and missed two great day stumbling around the two of us without a dog.
yeah, you should have responded to my first post 1A request and we could have talked, then I would have known you were interested. I would have made it out to meet you Saturday morning because my schedule changed, my video job(Saturday football game was cancelled) because the JV quarterback started and played the Varsity game which was Friday night(I had to video Friday night instead).... I ended up going to a Penn State meeting in the morning and then worked around the house. I would have rather been stomping the fields!
I mountain bike at Kennerdell and have hunted there too, it wouldn't have been my first pick but I had no other choices!
