Pheasent brood

Went crow hunting in Snyder county this morning and saw a one or two hen birds with their chicks while taking a drive. SGL 194 I believe. Could there be hope for a wild population.

Re: Pheasent brood

Wild pheasant trap and transfers have the best chance for success because of using wild birds. But, the better the habitat, the more game farm pheasants will be successful at hatching broods.

"The wildlife and it's habitat cannot speak for itself. So we must and we will." Teddy Roosevelt

The WILD Ringneck Pheasant was never extinct in Pa.,and yes some get harvested every year in the state!

It's breeding,training...and something unknown.
