Thoughts. . . .

We have lived at our location for 10+ years. We have always had some squirrels. When we had too many around the house,I would trap and transfer to local Game Lands.
This year we have an average of around 3-4.
HOWEVER never have they hit the Hickory nuts as hard as they have in the last 2 weeks! The yard is littered with shells. My wife will clean off the chair and after 4-5 hrs its full again.
Could it be BAD WINTER!

Re: Thoughts. . . .

That's weird. Any chipmunk or bird issues too?

According to the farmers almanac we are in for lots of cold and lots of snow.

The hawks are killing everything.

Our Barn Swallows left a couple of weeks earlier than normal...
