Wabbit Season !

Stayed at Westline Inn Mon/Tues last. I've NEVER seen such a density or number of cottontails. NEVER. Ya do have to wade thru the bears to see'em though.

Re: Wabbit Season !

I just live in the next town up from the Westline Inn. Ill actually be stopping up Westline tonight to throw a spinner on my way through.

The rabbit population here is getting better, but its honestly still not that good haha. We do have quite a few bears though.

Re: Wabbit Season !

I live near South Hills village mall and have noticed a lot less rabbit activity this season. Both in sighting them as well as garden damage.

Re: Wabbit Season !

reminds me of a beagle i bought years ago.
The man said he was good, but i really wasn't sure.
first brush pile he ran around it once, then sat down, sure enough,I kicked one rabbit out.
Next pile,he ran around twice and sat down.
Sure enough,I kicked out two rabbits.

This went on all day, until we came on one pile and this dog went crazy.
Foaming at the mouth, biting branches, shaking his head.
I knew then he was rabid so I shot him.
I went back to the man demanding my money back for buying a rabid dog.

He informed me,i was a d a,
That dog was trying to tell me there was more rabbits in that pile then you could shake a stick at.

true pleasure is a pair of red eyes coming at you in the night

Re: Wabbit Season !

Last word I heard was when Sunday hunting starts the daily limit for bunnies will be 12 since so few people believe we can hunt on Sundays.
