Heard a great sound this am.

Went to try and hear some turkeys near one of my grouse hunting spots. Walking through I thought I heard some drumming. Moved up the ridge a bit and heard the "Woooossshhh" Of a few grouse taking off. Man how I missed that sound. LOL

Anyone hearing any drumming?

Re: Heard a great sound this am.

I was up last weekend and didn't hear any drumming. My pup Hanna pointed 4 woodcock and 1 grouse in about an hour before it rained on Friday. Saturday we had snow in the A.M., but we went down to run the field trial at Marienville so no dog running around the camp. Hope to get back up in a week and hear some drumming and gobbling.
