Run in the snow 1-21-14

I took the dogs out after work for a run in the snow to see if we could find anything. More of the grass is starting to spring up as the snow melts. But we didn't find anything in the fields.

After crossing a flooded area we found some signs of birds. But it wasn't a good sign.

We did see some old pheasant tracks and then as I was about to leave I saw two birds fly between some pine trees.

Before I made it home I saw 3 different roosters and 4 hens.

The birds were looking good and seemed to make it through the snow and ice storms from the past few weeks. I tried to find the quail but I have not seen them since late December/early January.
