Afternoon hunting

So anyone got any tips for afternoon hunting? I know where they roost. So Do you call or just lay low and let them come by on the way to the roost? Is there much in the way of gobbling?

Re: Afternoon hunting

I hunt them on way to roost not at roost site. Figure why scare them off totally at roost. I focus on fields they like to feed in near roost sites. Should have killed one last year at 7pm by doing that but I missed. This past Saturday I heard one gobble that's it. The birds are real quiet in my hunting area. Hope that changes soon.
