Medix Run Area?

Anyone been hunting around Medix Run area. I scouted some nice birds, but filled the tags before I ever got there. Just curious if anyone else has done any good there.

Going gobbler hunting and Fly Fishing the 17,18,19 staying about a mile out of driftwood. Cant wait. Hoping to kill a couple gobblers, and slay the trout!

Re: Medix Run Area?

My son shot a gobbler about 20 minutes from the Medix Run area last Tuesday 5/7. The state stocked Medix Run on 5/3 and we caught a few trout that afternoon and missed several others. Great area!

If you continue to do what you're doing, you'll only get what you have gotten.

Used to fish Medix all the time. I even swam in it when I was a kid, man was that cold water!
