3rd times a charm

Well the old saying that 3rd is the charm rang true for me this morning! My first set up I called in the largest bearded gobbler I ever seen in the wild, I missed! Then I move to anther location where I know there's 3 jakes to console my ego, I turned scope off instead of on and they seen me trying to turn scope back on, freak my life! So I move to another spot and watch as a gobbler, one I think I later shot, parade across a over grown grass field with 2 hens, no chance he was about 120 yards out with his ladies. Soo, I figure he's gonna be with them for a while and decide to walk back to my truck to hook my phone on the charger, leaving all my gear at the tree except for my shotgun, she always goes where I go! Once phone was on charger I decided to go for a walk to check out a new area, see I have a mouth call in my console so I grab it and pop it in my mouth and off I go. Get a couple hundred yards from truck and let loose a yelp, gobbleobble responds. Sweet, I find a tree that looks comfy and get ready. All is quiet for awhile so I really start talking dirty with the mouth call, a triple gobble cuts me off. He's coming! I look into tree tops and see a red head walking up the hill at bout 35 yards. I pick the clearing the gobbler is gonna walk through and put the red dot in the middle. Soon as the gobblers head and the red dot lined up I squeezed her off and he dropped like a sack of taters! He weighed 24lbs, had two beards 1 was 10 1/2" other was 5 1/2" and he had 1 1/8" spurrs!
