Re: MONSTER GOBBLER (pix)

I know where there is one with beards like that, but I have not been close enough to see it's spurs.

I have taken one with triple beards 11/7/4 1/2" and three with double beards, but I have only seen one on foot with multiple beards. Would like to see him again next week.

Re: MONSTER GOBBLER (pix)

Last year my G-son(9)shot a double bearder on the youth huntlast year. It weighed 24lb and the beards measured 10 1/2 and 10 inches but the spurs were worn down.

Those are some HUGE spurs on the pic.

I thought we saw these pics last year on here, but I could be wrong.

There is no such thing as a stupid question, just stupid people asking questions.

No. No it's not.

Dandy bird, for sure. But that spur is indicative of a 3 or 4 year old bird. Pretty sharp.....but very minimally up-turned. Proportion the spur length to the width of the leg. I'm saying 1 3/8" - 1 1/2".

Still a dandy, trophy bird. 6 beards !!!! Geez !!!!

I am with strut on this one. No doubt a very nice bird though.

Re: MONSTER GOBBLER (pix)

Classic Bill Dance pose with the spurs. Lots of beards though, if they're real!
