Taking the single shot out this year.....

I've decided to take My little NEF single shot out this year. Its been sitting in the back seat of the cabinet for a couple years while I lugged my Over/under through the woods. Seems I've seen more birds and had better luck when I carried the little single barrel so I'm gonna try to bring some ofthat luck back. Its been a few years since I've gotten a bird. Anyone else going to be hunting with a single shot this year?

I have been carrying my Encore for a few years, It is much nicer to lug around the mountains of Cameron County!

The only time I ever fired 2 shots at a turkey I did not kill it anyway....1 shot is plenty.

Nice bird, and equally nice bird. Agreed on one shot being all you need.

I will be carrying an old Ithaca "super single" lever action Model 66 12 gauge for part of the spring...she's chambered for 3" magnums, but I think I'll feed her 2 3/4" #5's instead. I call her "Sledge Hammer"!

Got my invitation to Darrell's wedding in the mail today! No location on the invitation???
