Stuffers...

Any of you guys use stuffers for spring gobbler? They are very effective for goose hunting and I've seen them used on TV Shows for turkey hunting with excellent results. Just wondering if anybody uses them for turkey hunting and how in the world do you transport them? Guess they'd be more of a short walk/field hunting decoy?

If you continue to do what you're doing, you'll only get what you have gotten.

Re: Stuffers...

I've made several Pigger. I make them "industrial strength" and they are waterproofed with silicone spray. Transport is no more of a hassle than transporting a Dave Smith decoy or a Pretty Boy. I charge $425.

Re: Stuffers...

used them in Pa and out west...Like candy to a baby. I like a Jake more than anything. Set him low to the ground. Big boys see him and hear a hen, then come running. Keeping him low allows the other birds to feel like they can dominate him. Amazing how fixated they get on it....
Shot a long beard last year with two others righ next to him and Little Tommy. They didn't even run, just turned back and started to flogg the poor tommy....Deadly! Absolutely Deadly

I figured they'd be pretty deadly! Wish I had a taxidermist buddy!!
