When I had a mossy, that's the choke I had in it. It shot the hevi 13 2.25oz 6's fantastically! I think you'll be happy with it.

I think I'm an alright guy, I think I'm alright

I just got one. I tried my buddies Jellyhead and it shot better than my Pure Gold. Looks like it will be easier to clean too!

Re: Primos jelly head/mossy 835

My 835 patterned better with a Jelly Head than the factory X-full choke. I tried a Kicks Gobbling Thunder, that was better than a Jelly Head. I had Rob Roberts in Arkansas make me one of his custom chokes, that's the best I've found, and no reason to search any further.

But, every gun/choke/shell combo seems to work differently. If you're lucky you can find the right combo without spending too much $$.

Catch & release is for guys who don't know how to cook

Re: Primos jelly head/mossy 835

I've tried numerous chokes out of my 835. Best patterns I've achieved have been with a Rhino (.695). I've never actually patterned the Hevi 13 #7's however, I purchased a box last season. I've been shooting Hevishot Mag Blend and Nitros.

Never Misses

Jelly head works great for me out of my 835 tactical, killed a turkey just over 40 yards this fall
