I was out turkey hunting today at one of my favorite walks out a logging road. I’ve been seeing a flock there all last month. I was kee keeing up the road every 50 to 60 yards and watching down the mountain and listening. The farther up the road I got the worst my mouth call sounded. I thought I was losing my touch! I finally got to where I always sit for awhile beside an oak tree. I was sitting there for awhile watching out the mountain and decided to let out a few kee kees. Man it sounded like one choking on a mouth full of acorns, I thought good Lord! Well I have had this double reed River Valley mouth call for about 10 years now and called a lot of turkeys in with it in the fall over the years. I kinda got sad and got a lump in my throat and thought I might as well bury it right here at the base of this oak tree. I said a few words over it and got up and went back to the truck.

My name is Moss and i'm a turkey huntin' addict

I'm itchin' to see a red fox twitchin!
