Fall Gobbler and his amazing wingbone call

A few months back, I sent fall gobbler a wing bone set from a Rio Grande turkey that I shot in Kansas this past Spring season. Little did I know what a spectacular work of art I would get back in return. Wow!

The colors and artwork are just amazing. This is going to be a true treasure to behold in the field.

Tony made one for me last year and they are truly works of art. And they sound as good as they look! Enjoy that beautiful call!

Congrats on your call from Tony, he is a super guy and good friend. I own several of his wingbones and a Jordan yelper of his and they are pure turkey. I have one around my neck spring and fall.

This will definitely be cherished for years to come. It's one of those deals where you may have seen pictures of some nice wingbone calls here and there online, but never personally handled something truly this nice. I was floored by the skill he required to make it. The wingbone call I made and used this past season is...functional, at best. Tuned to perfection and pretty like this? Not even close.

You are doing the turkey hunting community a distinct favor by keeping this artform alive in such a superb way, my friend. Keep doing what you do.

The cool thing about these types of calls (wingbones, cane yelpers and trumpets) is that once you master them, they are an extremely effective tool in the turkey woods.
I did a trade with a well known pot call maker from Tennessee. He now has named his wingbone his "Death Tool"!
Practice up Brother!!!

All true. A wingbone or trumpet can often pull a gobble from a stubborn bird when all else failed. Happened countless times searching big tracts of public land for a bird - box? no. pot? no. mouth call? no. box AND mouth call? no. wingbone? WHAM!

Yelpers are just different than everything else in my vest.
