I shot a double bearded long beard the first day. That was the only day i even heard a gobble. Haven't heard another one since and i have been out all but 2 days of the season. I covered miles and miles of boot leather and cannot get another one to gobble for tag#2.

Heard my first definite gobble in 4B today. He wasn’t hot by any means but responded to calling. Tough that we couldn’t close the gap any more than 200 due to no access. Fun all the same and hoping they turn on.

Yeah and today the 18th they were hammering all morning. Today was the most gobbling Ive heard.
Its been on and off but on enough to keep it interesting.
