Check out this turkey

I just returned from a bowhunt down south and had this hen come past my blind. Pretty cool. Never saw one this color. The gobblers were cranking all day long at everything. The long beard was right behind her.

Nice. I have a hen that looks very similar. A Narragansett crossed with an Eastern. She is nuts. Squats for me each time I feed. She won't let the Toms' get on her yet though.

How come there are never any smoke phase gobblers. I've never seen one but have seen a fair number of hens.

Shot a gobbler like that in MO years ago with a 4" beard. It came in with a gobbler with a mature beard and I choose to shoot the white one as I thought no one back in camp would believe me.
