Getting old but still cheap

I'm actually getting to the point I may use a few dollars to buy a trail cam.
Of course, I don't have a feeder, on a private piece of land, to watch in the middle of the night. I'll break my in using it first for a security camera around the home property. Make sure it can have double duty.
Then use it on a hunt for scout duty; an extra pair of eyes on a hunt. And I don't need pictures for a Vogue magazine. I'll probably use it then in daytime. No use in scouting deer just moving at night. The hunting laws usually prevent such activity.
And the camera will be so cheap, no respecting thief will steal it. I have a cell phone like that. You can't tweet or keypunch with it.
