Re: PA Wildlife Conservation Officer

your best bet is to call your regional office and ask to speak with the WCO from your area.

Too often we enjoy the comfort of opinion, without the discomfort of thought.

I hope you were in the military service because you would get an extra 10 points on the exam.

Re: PA Wildlife Conservation Officer

What is it that you want to know about the process?

If you can be more specific in your questions I suspect someone can provide the answers.

Re: PA Wildlife Conservation Officer

first look at civil service website for available test, which comes around every 2 to 3 years, then schedule and take test, if you pass accordingly then its on to step 2, which is oral examination, schedule that, go take, and recieve results, after that you wait, then they do background exam, and i mean investigate every aspect of your life, physical testing which tests 5 areas, pass that then final interviews! good luck its a very lengthy and trying process, i dont think there is a testing open yet....im sure itll come again soon as more retire and not enough cadets make it through or class isnt big enough to fill all voids

Re: PA Wildlife Conservation Officer

They are opening up the application process at the Civil Service Website on March 6 2013. It will be open for 30 days, or the first 600 applications which ever comes first.

Im living the dream and its a good one to.
