anyone hear about buck killed in store parking lot

in blairsville, southern indiana county, a very large and apparently wounded buck crossed over rt 22 and ran into a arons/walmart parking lot where a guy pulles out his pistol and begins shooting at the thing.

A lot like the Jeanette (Westmoreland County) cop was let off easy for trespassing in the spring gobbler season, and shot a BALD EAGLE out of a tree before daybreak!!! He did not get off totally free, but it was an awful lot like a 'hand slap.'

if any average joe with a pistol permit began firing rounds at a deer in a crowded parking lot you bet your day would end in silver bracelets.
Can you post a link to the information?

We all make choices, some good, some bad, can you live up to yours?

Re: anyone hear about buck killed in store parking lot

Not to bash any ex/present cops on this site but I know of a couple that are less than exceptional with their firearms. The one was hunting on the same property as us last year and shot a doe's leg off and only retrieved the leg. He then proceeded to shoot a buck through the hips. If he couldn't hit a deer with a scoped rifle, how great of a shot can he be with an open sight pistol.

Haven't heard about the deer in the parking lot but wow, there isnt a safe place to shoot in that parking lot at all. I can see how a deer could end up there though.
