Yep, and those years (or was it year) when it was extended to Saturday, or was that just guys wanting it extended and it didn't happen.

For those who fought for it, Life has a flavor the protected will never know.

i remember a few years where it got extended to Saturday because of major snow storms. One in particular had us thigh deep in Tioga county.

I remember 91 or 92? The storm came on thursday in buck season. It was still terrible roads on first day of doe on monday. My camp now is where my grandmothers house was it was impossible to have her driveway plowed. I asked the Penn Dot guy if he would make a swipe in on his way back up and he did. There was actually no room anywhere to pull off of road to park. They extended doe season until sat. but i dont really think it helped anything.
