DIY Maine Moose

Hey guys, got back Saturday morning from my Maine Moose hunt. Took 16 years to draw the tag, hunted zone 4 for the September hunt. We stayed at Loon Lodge while we were up there. Had a great trip, saw 9 bulls 4 cows and 4 calves and a couple of moose we couldn't determine what they were. The rut was just starting, I got my bull Tuesday morning, we called at the first spot and just moved to the second spot and he was standing there! I had sprayed moose urine at the spot on Monday when we were there and he had ripped up the pine tree I sprayed! 125 yards 1 shot through the neck that exited the opposite shoulder, dumped him on the spot, 338 win mag with 250 gr nosler's. 50" wide, 17 points, dressed 850 lbs and I got 524 lbs of meat cut wrapped and froze from the butcher!
One of the best trips I've been on, beautiful country and the leaves were just about at there peak. We also saw eagles, coyotes, a bobcat and martin and some deer and caught some atlantic salmon while we were waiting on the butcher.

Thanks for looking!

A haiku is just like a normal American poem, except it doesnt rhyme and is totally stupid.
